Our hoped for goal of the day was right in front of us but our concern with the weather and the time it might take made us cautious. Bob was testing out his healing leg with a heavy pack to get ready for some bigger peaks in a week or two and Eric had a time constraint with his job situation. Myself? I just enjoy getting to the top of a mountain but I did agree that the weather was iffy and the weather report we had promised heavy rains by late evening so we said "hey, it'll be there for us so next time we'll try the Klenke route". Actually, I wouldn't mind trying it from Davis Peak sometime.
