Engineer Mountain, Northeast Ridge [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Engineer Mountain, Northeast Ridge
Aaron Johnson exits the face crack onto the exposed east face of Engineer Mountain to engage the crux move, an 80 foot stretch of Class 4 climbing on tenuous rock. Local folks routinely climb the mountain with little or no experience. Do not execute this route unless you are comfortable on such terrain involving considerable exposure. Summer, 2007, San Juan Mountains.
