I love this shot. The great shades of blue and the framing are really grabbing.

Are you doing on snow? I was not informed of this change! Heads will roll! ;- )

Didn't think you guys remembered what crampons were. This is a great pic. Wish I could give it 11.

Tell me the truth though, were you guys carrying a rack in your packs looking to do some rock pinnacle in the area??

Yup, 3 more days. 'Tis on Saturday. Did I mention what an understanding wife I will have? We are deferring our honeymoon til January and I am going on a 5-day trip to the North Cascades 3 days after the wedding. (I'm going to owe her big, I know.)

So what were you looking at instead of Eldorado? Johannesburg? Buckner?

"I am going on a 5-day trip to the North Cascades 3 days after the wedding. "

Do tell oh kind Sire!! Ptarmigan Traverse?? This deed indeed puts "honey" in "honeymoon period".

"So what were you looking at instead of Eldorado? Johannesburg? Buckner?" Nothing as ambitious - some spire on the backside of eldo.

Ah, nothing as ambitious for myself either. My annual hiking trip with a buddy from Massachusetts (Flanders on SP). We're headed to set up a basecamp and peakbag around Lake Chelan.

Annie and my real honeymoon will come early next year, hopefully to New Zealand.

Sorry, just got back. Did Cardinal and Saska Peaks in the Entiats. Bailed the last two days due to smoke from the fires the next valley over. Then did a smaller one around 11worth I need to do a page for. Fun stuff, TR coming for the annual Jenkins/Flanders hiking trip soon. :-)
