Hasn't voted | Thanks Deb, looks worse than it is...like all climbs, when you break it down into parts, it mellows some....cheers | | Posted Aug 2, 2007 11:45 am |

Any chance you shot anything "closer" of the "snow stratigraphy"?
I'm sure you had nothing else on your mind... | | Posted Aug 2, 2007 11:37 am |

Hasn't voted | Your right Don, just wanted to reach the summit at this point. But I agree, one of the neater formations I have seen. My best shot of it is this one. Unique deal was a very deep crevase right at the summit, where one would suspect there to be rock, was a huge hole. Would be so easy for some unsuspecting scrambler coming up the southwest ridge to fall into it. I think I have read where that happened, but Alpine accident reports website is down right now. Cheers. | | Posted Aug 2, 2007 11:49 am |

Hasn't voted | Thanks Radek, hope you are having a great season. Weather up north has been exceptional for climbing, prob not good for global warming....cheers | | Posted Aug 2, 2007 8:33 pm |
