Thanks Deb, looks worse than it is...like all climbs, when you break it down into parts, it mellows some....cheers

Thanks for posting.

Any chance you shot anything "closer" of the "snow stratigraphy"?

I'm sure you had nothing else on your mind...

Your right Don, just wanted to reach the summit at this point. But I agree, one of the neater formations I have seen. My best shot of it is this one. Unique deal was a very deep crevase right at the summit, where one would suspect there to be rock, was a huge hole. Would be so easy for some unsuspecting scrambler coming up the southwest ridge to fall into it. I think I have read where that happened, but Alpine accident reports website is down right now. Cheers.

Thanks Radek, hope you are having a great season. Weather up north has been exceptional for climbing, prob not good for global warming....cheers

""You cannot stay on the summit forever; you have to come down again. So why bother in the first place? Just this: What is above knows what is below, but what is below does not know what is above. One climbs, one sees. One descends, one sees no longer, but one has seen. There is an art of conducting oneself in the lower regions by the memory of what one saw higher up. When one can no longer see, one can at least still know.""   --Rene Daumal
