Both Sundance Mountain and Mount Chapin have easy slopes on their back sides that provide the most common routes up.

However, they face each other across the Fall River. I assume that a glacier once carved these slopes away where they face each other. This is Sundance from Chapin. Chapin from Sundance is here.
