Mount Chapin from Sundance Mountain [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Mount Chapin from Sundance Mountain
Both Sundance Mountain and Mount Chapin have easy slopes on their back sides that provide the most common routes up.

However, they face each other across the Fall River. I assume that a glacier once carved these slopes away where they face each other. This is Chapin from Sundance. You can easily make out Chiquita's similar-looking face behind Chapin -- and, if you know what you're looking for, the top of Ypsilon just behind Chiquita.

Sundance from Chapin is here.

July 2007.
