| Mount Chapin from Sundance Mountain | [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ] | |||
Both Sundance Mountain and Mount Chapin have easy slopes on their back sides that provide the most common routes up. However, they face each other across the Fall River. I assume that a glacier once carved these slopes away where they face each other. This is Chapin from Sundance. You can easily make out Chiquita's similar-looking face behind Chapin -- and, if you know what you're looking for, the top of Ypsilon just behind Chiquita. Sundance from Chapin is here. July 2007.
