Overview
Looking up at Magic Fern before starting the first pitch. The route goes over that roof then up the handcrack on the right side of the detached pillar. The start is the traversing fingercrack from the left. Fun climb. (8/4/07)

That first pitch could use a pretty good cleaning. How was the second pitch?

Senior Citizens in Space and the other 5.9 were way better in my opinion.

Yeah, after the fingercrack it was a bit dirty. The detached pillar section was clean though. Second pitch was short but fun. I agree with you that it is not as good as SCIS, which is damn nice for a 5.8. That 5.9 flare was ok, but not as good as I expected.

I really dug the other 5.9. The climbing is varied and engaging almost the whole way. What is that called - Butter something?
