A climber from Canada leading pitch #3 on the North Face of Burgundy Spire. This pitch is a hideous oatmeal expando flake and I ripped a big chunk of it off almost taking a big ride while leading it. We bailed after this, what a shitty route. (7-29-07)

Nice go at Burgundy. Nice hike up to the col (too many switchbacks eh? :)

You should give this route a chance - yeah, the lower ~1/2 is shitty but the upper half has enjoyable pitches and the rock quality is great up higher.

	Hasn't voted	Thanks for the vote. Those first 3 pitches absolutely horrible. I will probably never go back and try this again. Oh well. The hike was pretty easy, the 4,000' feet goes by quickly. Now I just need to get my strength back so I can hike up there again for Rebel Yell. :-)
