Matterhorn - Monte Cervino [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Matterhorn - Monte Cervino
This photo is one of the few I managed to take on this years trip to the Alps. I managed to pick up some sort of stomach bug or food poisoning in Geneva and spent the entire holiday feeling sick in my tent. I didn't manage to climb a thing and I still feel pissed off... ah well there's always next year :) (July 2007). Another photo I managed to get: HERE!

...about your trip. But a beautiful photo of Matterhorn. Was it that much snow this July?

Cheers, Kaallin!

Hi there, thanks for your comment, my trip sucked but I figure the mountains still going to be there next year so its not the end of the world. Yea there was quite a bit of snow up there when I took the photo, the previous two days had seen a lot of fresh snowfall and the conditions where a bit dodgy. Six soldiers were killed by an avalanche on the Jungfrau because of it.
