Rimpfischwänge, Slab II+ [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Rimpfischwänge, Slab II+
Ridge edge II+ below foresummit of Rimpfischhorn.

After climbing icy snow slope (up to 50º) reach solid normally dry rock, slab (II+), to gain the foresummit. Exposed! Other variant is to climb left 10m chimney, rather unpleasent and icy, not on the photo.

jckThe chimney...

Voted 10/10

...is good idea while descending, especially when you have 60 meters rope- 30 meters long rappel is sufficient to reach to lower abseiling point. This allows you to rap down all the snow-icy slope (mentioned in the description of the picture) which might be unpleasant in bad snow conditions.

Anyway, great shot Radek (Przeciez wiem...)
