In the middle: Custura Bucurei (2370 m).

A very scenic area. It looks like it can get a little crowded :(

Well, this is the most frequently visited spot. In summertime alternative campsites (lake Zanoaga, Stana din Rau) are a better choice if you want to avoid the crowd of people. In winter the area is pretty much abandoned, though you have to cope with harsh environment. Nice place to do skiing, if you got aquainted with the area in summer.
