Michael on the Bernadeinwand [ Sizes: Orig | Small | Thumb ]
Michael on the Bernadeinwand
On pitch 5 of the Direkte Nordwand of the Bernadeinwand. This little peak is dwarfed by the Alpspitze, but offers an enjoyable 5.8 10 pitch rock climb to the summit.

hope your season on the old continent is going well Michael....you're not missing much in terms of N. Cascades this (worst I've seen) season. Weather has been sucking on many weekends here :(

(kicker is that mid-week it's beautiful!!)

Great shot BTW!

Yes, just about to go for a week in the Dolomites...I'm going crazy worrying about the weather - I can't concentrate on work!

The problem is that the alps still seem kind of "monolithic" to me...I don't know the secret places to run to in rain. Grr...

Here's to a good weekend for you!

"You can make the long drive to desert towers, eh?"

not if you're constantly in the red vacationtime-wise :) We've done the Friday after work to Monday before work outing to Moab once but I've learned my lesson (never again).
