| Young Buck by the Waves | [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ] |
As I was walking along the Olympic Peninsula, I was lucky enough to spot and approach a young buck. He allowed me to get within 5 feet of him with little worry.

Voted 10/10 | Some people might see this buck as
a statue, but I know for a fact
there's deer in that area. Was it
getting a drink of water??? | | Posted Dec 22, 2007 1:55 pm |

Actually, he was a boogie boarder. The waves at the Olympic Peninsula were only about 2 feet high, so mostly he was just paddling around.

Hasn't voted | Thanks for the comment! He lived right on the edge of the forest, only a little bit away from the beach, and came out to eat.
