Massive Mount Stimson [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Massive Mount Stimson
An early morning shot of Mount Stimson's tremendous southwest ridge. Me and my brother climbed it this summer by traversing the north face of the adjacent Mount Pinchot and scrambling up the southeast ridge (far right). Just before we began the Pinchot traverse Stimson came into view in the most dramatic way possible. This was our first up close look at Stimson and at this point we were both completely blown away by the sheer size of this peak. Never seen anything like it, amazing way to start a day in Glacier.
