Voted 10/10 | I hope you're getting better now ! Anyway, be cool don't return to fast to high mountains ! Sometimes it's not bad to "wandern" near 2500m.
As i can see on the picture, there is so much snow that everybody is walking on the cornice ! The snow ridge is placed left of the real mountain ridge: that can be dangerous because the snow ridge can collapse on the south side of the mountain.

If never seen so much snow in August! Nearly every step I had snow up to my knees and at the ridge it was really awkward! During this week climbers died caused by avalanche at Jungfrau. We don´t know for what illness is good sometimes. Thomas | | Posted Aug 23, 2007 8:22 am |
