A different angle of Clokey Catchfly (Silene clokeyi)

I spotted this plant along Devil's Thumb route to Charleston Peak above 11,000 feet.
This plant is endemic to the Spring Mountains, Nevada. It is a relative of the carnation that you will see only on Charleston Peak, Griffith Peak and Mummy Mountain.

This picture sat in my 'Mystery Plants' folder for three years since 2005. I'm happy to finally find out what it is!

	Hasn't voted	Thank you. They were tiny and growing out of a limestone crevice in a place where I would not expect to see any flowers.
