Mt. Chaval as seen from... [ Sizes: Orig | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Mt. Chaval as seen from...
Mt. Chaval as seen from Saddle 6,120+ 1.3 miles to the WNW on May 26, 2003. When coming in via Jug Lake, this saddle is the first place where one gets a view of the objective peak. To continue, one must contour around the slope beyond the climbers (this is the south slope of Pk 6356) to a low point in the ridge, whereupon a short descent into the basin left of Chaval is undertaken.
