Once you have traversed around the base of the cliffs, you come out into this basin. Cross below the first wooded cliffs across the way in the picture. Ascend in the gully between the cliff and the next little rock rib, always trending south. You'll eventually come out into the little basin at the base of the notch. Frisco's summit is visible to the left.
