checked out the North Face of Index? My jaw always dropped when I saw it from the highway in the late 1980s. Awesome mountain!

	Hasn't voted	Yes, it's very impressive. Check out the topo map of the east face west of Lake Serene. The contours collapse to a line. Approaching from the west reaches the same summit. :-)
