Light and Dark [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Light and Dark
All day long, storm clouds contested the sun, and snow even fell lightly and briefly once. This scene is from McClellan Mountain's southwestern ridge as I returned from the summit to the ridge leading back to Argentine Pass. The mountain in the background is Torreys Peak; the pinnacle in the foreground offers Class 3 scrambling to a precipitous perch the like of which not often found in this section of the Front Range.

Thank you, Vlado. It reminds me a little of some of your own great light/dark contrast shots.
