A piece of history. After the original 1912-1913 survey, Strathcona Park was resurveyed by N.C. Stewart between 1934 and 1938. This is his original brass bolt placed in 1937 on the summit of the Golden Hinde, the highest peak on Vancouver Island, BC. Confusingly it's labelled "27".
