Woodland Strawberry [ Sizes: Orig | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Woodland Strawberry
Woodland Strawberry (Fragaria vesca) grows in sunny locations on the edges of mountain forests. In the Tatra Mountains it can be found up to 1700 metres. It blooms from May to June. The fruits are small, but have a strong flavor and are rich in vitamin C. Leaves, stems and flowers can be used to make herbal tea.
