Claywood Summit View [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Claywood Summit View
This is the head of the north fork Dosewallips River. The pyramidal peak out to left is Wellesley Peak and Thousand Acre Meadow is the verdant alpine expanse, center-left. On the right Sentinel Peak is obscured by the bulk of Mount Fromme. Of course, the gem in the foreground is Claywood Lake. From its rim, one has a great view of Dose Meadows and the rest of the valley.

Shredzerr, this is a very awesome view looking towards Wellesley. It looks so rugged and inviting from this angle. The colors are very relaxing in this photo.

Could I have your permission to crop and edit this photo and put it on the Wellesley Peak page?
