This is Gullfoss (Golden Falls) on the Hvitá (White River) in Gullfoss National Park, Iceland. The park has no climbing or hiking, other than the little tourist trail that you can see here. (Look at the people for scale.) This is an easy stop on the road to Hekla, among other climbing destinations. It's well worth a stop. Photo taken in June 2007.
