High on Kings Peak
This is me as we ascended Kings Peak. It was a weekend filled with solitude and reflection, and I will definitely be back to this area in the future.

Thanks. We enjoyed the trip a lot, and the Uintas are fast becoming a favorite range of mine. Even if you don't aspire to climb peaks, the solitude the area offers in the sweeping basins is mostly unmatched elsewhere in the lower 48.

"There's a land where the mountains are nameless, And the rivers all run god knows where; There are lives that are erring and aimless, And deaths that just hang by a hair; There are hardships that nobody reckons; There are valleys unpeopled and still; There's a land-oh it beckons and beckons, And I want to go back and I will."   --Robert Service
