The top of Trinchera Peak has several large, tall summit cairns as well as a small unique aperture cairn through which West Spanish Peak across the valley to the east, may be viewed. 9-10-07

Thanks for your vote. I hope the cairn remains for awhile. I have visited summits where once there had been a sizable cairn , only to find on a later visit, just a pile of rocks. Maybe lightning was the culprit?
