From the Upper Snake River Valley, Garfield Mountain is seen as a nice conical peak on the northwest horizon. It looks like the St. Anthony Sand Dunes are at the foot of the peak, but the mountain is probably 45 miles beyond.

Early winter 2006.

Reposted... the first didn't seem to be working.
