Moni as the beginning of the Class 3 terrain Stanton Mountain SE Slope Route with Lake McDonald below. The route starts nearly at the lake shore at the edge of the burn (gray vs green trees). The tree covered area on the route looks nearly flat from this perspective – it is not – it is very steep.
