On the ridge of Viserujna (1632m) at sunset. Behind Velebit channel is Novigradsko More sea and further behind small Karinsko More sea. Third quarter Moon provided enough light (no need for flash light) during 4h long night descent to car, which was great end of absolutely amazing day on Velebit. November 30th 2003.

Voted 10/10 | So you had such beautiful weather this weekend? It was bad here, or may be somewhat better high on mountains. Congrats for this pic, Sasa! | | Posted Dec 2, 2003 10:27 am |

Hasn't voted | Thanks Vid! I really had amazing weather, crystal clear after fresh snow. I didn't plan to wait for the sunset on Viserujna but when me and Nino got up there it was so amazing that I couldn't resist. Nino did not want to descent during the night from such a high and remote spot (4h to car) so he descended to Paklenica valley and waited for me there. I was all alone on 'top' of Velebit watching this beauty unfold. | | Posted Dec 3, 2003 8:55 am |
