South Taconic Trailhead [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
South Taconic Trailhead
While driving on Boston Corners Road look for this sign marking the start of the South Taconic Trail. This trail is very steep and provides great views. It will also take you to Brace Mountain, the Tri-State marker (New York, Connecticut, and Massachusetts) and to the South Shoulder of Mount Frissell which is the state highpoint of Connecticut.

... mad when people downvote pictures of the trailheads.
I remember one time we drove around for almost an hour looking for the trailhead of Mt. Tylor in NM. We didn't know what it would look like and the sign turned out to be so small that it was really easy to miss.

Thanks Anya. SP has great photography, but needs more submissions of photos showing accurate route descriptions. Your photography is great and you have a cool name. I'm just glad when people vote. The SP site has evolved to where people only vote 10s. Voting by using the entire scale would be ideal, but few people do it.
