Rainier and Timbered Peak [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Rainier and Timbered Peak
The view north from the summit. Timbered Peak (4381F, 1021P) is overmastered by Mt. Rainier beyond. Rainier is more than 10,000 ft higher than Timbered. Yet both have volcanic origins. And Timbered is probably Rainier's elder. October 13, 2007.
