Wall in Sunlight [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Wall in Sunlight
One of Bryce Canyon's walls of stone while illuminated by sunlight.
Taken near Bryce Point only sixteen seconds after shooting A Wall in Shadow.

You may notice that this wall is backlit by direct sun while the side facing the camera is illuminated by light reflected from nearby colored rock. Being able to get this shot was simply luck, and depended upon being at the right place at the right time under perfect conditions.
