If you are driving from Lake City to Creede, be sure and stop by Clear Creek falls. It is right off of the highway.

I believe there are few places in Colorado where you have not been, above the timber, man. Nice photo, glad you posted it.

Thanks.

Being from Texas, I have been able to get to most of central and southern Colorado. What I haven't been able to get to is Rocky Mountain National Park of all places. Last time I was up I tried to at least drive up through the park but I didn't have enough time because I had to catch a flight. I have been to Indian Peaks once but that was during a blizzard so I didn't get to see much except the inside walls of a snow cave.
