And, to think that these towers in Utah's Zion Canyon were nothing but sand. And ... SAND they will return to, in a couple million years. Enjoy them while they're here!!! Taken in September of 2007

I really like the contrast of the red rocks with the blue sky! You have some great Southern Utah shots!

the dark streaks on the rock's walls is "desert varnish." It has something to do with the action of the water on the rocks.

When you have a GREAT subject like this, you really CAN"T GO WRONG. Thanks, mtybumpo!!!

I really think you should check out Sp-member's "Tanya" images of Zion NP.
She lives just outside of the Park!
Pretty cool! Satuation is very important
in any picture. Have a great week!
