Looking across Horseshoe... [ Sizes: Orig | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Looking across Horseshoe...
Looking across Horseshoe Basin toward the SE Buttress of Sahale Peak on July 12, 1997. Part of the Davenport Glacier can be seen at upper right. The route back goes via the snowfield right of top-center. We still had a loooong way to go, as we did this climb from the Eldorado Peak trailhead in a day due to a washout over the road (22 hours round trip, still my longest one-day climb to date).
