The SW ridge seen from the Oberaletschhütte.

The route leaves the lower glacier approximately in the corner,

then goes up obliquely to the left aiming for the moraine ridge located above

the lower rocks, on the right of the start of the ridge proper.

It then follows the rock ridge, crosses the small glacier half-way,

and uses the mixed rock/snow ridge to the top.
