Hasn't voted | Ya know, the funny thing about this trip is...I was going to sleep in my car. Once I go to the TH and saw what perfect conditions I had, I packed my sleeping bag, pad, headlamp and cloths. No food but some granola and some water...oh and some whiskey. Thats it, I had all I needed to spend the night and started hiking. WOW my pack was light! Hiked a few miles and headed off the trail and found a great spot to watch the mountain. It was a perfect sunset and an even better sunrise.

Voted 10/10 | the whiskey, I mean. I DID the same thing once
... at Mount Adams. Back in the 80s, it was FUN doing things solo. Those were the days.
