Mt Abraham as seen from Mt Grant. It was a very ominous day that turned out being incredibly wet. Just a mile further down the trail the sky turned almost as dark as night, yet it was only noon. Within minutes it rained incredibly hard and we were soaked through. By that evening we had summited Mt Abraham and found shelter in a ski lodge a few miles further. We were able to dry out that evening and sleep in a dry place. This was day 15 of 28 on the Long Trail.
