My hiking partner as we wandered up the Long Trail. Here we are atop Madonna Peak and standing at the very top of a ski trail. The picture is looking west. I really like the way the wildflowers in the foreground lead into the view off the mountain. I also like the capture of my partner as he is left there, pondering in his own thoughts. I actually caught him while he was taking in the view and this photo is not posed at all. This was day 22 of 28 on the Long Trail.
