Lake Aloha
Lake Aloha from the top of Ralston Peak, Desolation Wilderness 11/4/07 Zoom in on this and it looks like you could walk across the lake, crazy. We need snow!! Little Pyramid is the peak on the left.

This is a beautiful picture, squishy! What's the name of the "pyramid-shaped" peak in the background?

I wonder how much this affects the behavior
of cougars and bears. Seems like they will be gathering around what LITTLE water there is?

That's Little Pyramid, it's not very big but a good climb and very picturesque. There isn't any large animals in Desolation wilderness, I don't think there's enough food, it's a nice place because you don't have to worry about bears and such. Normally that lake is very large, most of the picture is the bottom of the lake being exposed, It was a horrible year for the watersheds.
