The Born Lakes are one of the more popular backpacking destinations in the White Clouds. This photo spans from Lonesome Peak on the left, to "Born Quiet Peak" (10857') on the right. The Devil's Staircase is the chute leading to the low-point on the ridge, just right of center. August 29, 2007
