The brush never relented but often there was a way around or through it or I ran into talus sections (always very loose). I found many helpful game trails, most likely deer and mountain sheep. I was hoping for a mountain sheep sighting but they managed to elude me (despite the very fresh scat I kept stepping in, ugh)
