Moose captured in bronze

Moose captured in bronze

Larry, this one is for you. I had promised Larry a moose picture from Utah and I found this poser speciman at the Snowbasin ski area. Above the ski facilities, Mt. Ogden peeks at us from the distance. 11-4-07

I'm not even going to venture

a guess! Somewhere southwest of Kings
Peak, right? This moose looks happy!
It would probably be "happier" if it
could CLIMB the mountain.

Where I live, they're planning to
erect a bronze ELK. If I'm still
around in two more years, I'll post
to you the photo. Cheers & gracias!

NICE capture & GOOD EYES !!!

Larry, I tell ya, the only reason I took this picture sunday was thanks to all your comments about moose and reindeer. Somehow it just seemed appropriate to post this pic in your honor. : )

Re: What, Dean ?

You mean this phoney moose got 'photo of the hour?' That's truly incredible! I need to post some photos I took out in the desert ... of some jack asses or wild burros. They were brought here in the 1800s by prospectors, and now they've MULTIPLIED like rabbits on Easter! Take care, Dean!!! :)))

Re: What, Dean ?

C'mon Larry, admit it, that is a pretty incredible shot of a phoney moose. I mean, I could've been injured if the thing had fallen on me (due to an earthquake or something). I was prett-eee brave getting this close. Bring on your pics of jack asses/burros, they are pretty scary too. Check out these scary critters Larry. This was close enough for me.
