Red Mountain is located below Gibson Peak. Right of Gibson are the unnamed "Echo Peaks", Middle Peak and Granite Peak. Mount Shasta can be seen looming in the distance. Right of Mount Shasta the Castle Crags and the Grey Rocks are visible. Interestingly, this complex cluster of peaks is visible from I-5 between Red Bluff and Cottonwood.
