Climbers Before Dawn

Climbers at 12,000 feet on the Emmons Glacier, Mount Rainier. The DC Route was so bad this year, we were forced to traverse under the cleaver onto the Emmons Glacier. This added several miles and considerable lost elevation to our ascent. Photographed July 29, 2007.

DC Route ... it CHANGES every year. Cheers!
