Schwab Falls in the Allen Creek drainage greets the tenacious hiker and climber as they round the buttress of Allen Mountain, seen up in the far right for the first time on the route. Just above the falls are two twin lakes, Snow Moon and Falling Leaf. The route angles slightly left and aims for the left side of the cliff buttress seen here, where a climb of the Great Break, the crux of the route, must be executed.
