Nowhere in tundra [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Nowhere in tundra
Flat light, snow drifting in the wind, unconnected dark features of the terrain coming in and out of the mist ... that's Arctic Ural.

November 1987, somewhere in the vicinity of Ponpel-Iz Mtn.

Today's slide scanners are amazing. This was an unexciting pale, grey slide to my naked eye.

But after playing with the scanner, it just came alive with its graphical story of cold wind and uncertain routefinding.
