Your tent may be devoured! [ Sizes: Orig | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Your tent may be devoured!
One morning I woke up by a nibbling sound. I looked out and hundreds of sheep were outside. Some of them were checking out if tent lines, bags and rope were any good.
I had to chase them away and got some help from the Tajik shephards which arrived some minutes later.
Photo from my BC, where I was alone.

Corax ! Tack sa mycket for this
wonderful photo, it really MADE my
DAY. I had forgotten that this
part of the world had so many sheep!
Perhaps the SHEEP ... they were
attracted to the bright yellow colour
of the tent.
Ha,ha! Take care of yourself,
out there.

Tack, tack.
I have even heard the expression Baranistan about Kyrgyzstan. It means something like The land of cattle or life stock. Most of the time it's used as a joke about how much animals there are around, but also as a derogatory comment from (to be diplomatic) "another group of people not liking the Kyrgyz". So don't use the expression in the area, it can backfire badly :-)
