In the last section of ferrata Lipella on Tofana de Rozes (3225m).

You can also notice some people in the mid part of the photo.


Such traverses are tricky, especially if wet (know from own experience), so avoid it if rain is in the forecast. There are no iron pegs for the feet! All you have is iron cord and on many sections rock is very smooth, with no support for the shoes, like here. Often ferrata is going straight up or even over hanging! Arm strenght is very important because on many places you have to pull up your entire body weight, especially in the last part!
