Geranium palustre [ Sizes: Orig | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Geranium palustre
Geranium palustre (Bodziszek blotny) is a perennial native to Europe. The plant is from 30 to 60 cm high and it likes clay soils. In the Low Beskid it is quite common in damp mountain meadows and on the edges of thickets.
It is pollinated by insects.

Hi Henryk, congratulations for the photo of the day! I'm glad that others like these our beautiful flowers, too. I saw that flowers in summer in Slovak paradise and around Banska Bystrica as well. Cheers Tomas :)

Thank you Tomas. I live very close to Slovakia and I used to visit your country very often. I remember staying in Spisska Nova Ves and its vicinity. We have beautiful mountains and nature around us. Greetings, Henryk.
